Moo! You have arrived at my virtual art gallery.
Hi, I’m Erkko Skantz, and welcome to my collection of paintings. I regularly add new works, so there’s always something new to discover.
Enjoy exploring! I hope you’ll find something that makes you smile, think, or perhaps even surprises you.
Many of my paintings come with stories and personal reflections. The story behind Moments in Time, for example, describes how I discovered my creativity after keeping it locked away for decades.
Over the past few years, I’ve finally broken free from the mental barriers that held me back. Here, you can follow my journey as I explore oil painting and develop my skills. My earlier works offer a glimpse into how my technique has evolved along the way.
As for the subjects, expect the unexpected! Leave your preconceptions behind, keep an open mind, and see what catches your eye.
Here are some of my latest paintings. Take a closer look – you never know what you might discover…
Here’s a glimpse of my oil paintings. You can read my thoughts on them in my blog.
